SCRIM CONDUCT: REQUIRED READING

ATTN: ALL WHO PLAY IN THE SCRIMS
if you play in the scrims then you need to read and sign off on this post that you have read it.
if you do not read and sign off you may not be allowed to take part in any future scrims.
i hate having to make these types of posts. these are supposed to be for fun and everyone should know how to act like an adult and show a little respect for the other people who play in the matches. it generally takes me about 30 to 45 mins to set up the matches prior to them being played.
it also takes me at least another couple hours after to compile the videos and get them uploaded to you tube after the matches.
prior to last nites scrim there was an issue that came up that i should not have to address but apparently i need to so that it does not come up again along with a few others just to avoid any future issues with player conduct.
1: SCRIM MAPS
please get on the server prior to the start of the scrim and download any maps that you will need so that we can get started at the scheduled start time. i know that sometimes you may not be able to do so, and most do try to show some respect for their fellow players by getting the maps ahead of time, at other times people show up late with out signing up in the forums.
i try and be flexible on this topic and rotate the maps once everyone has shown up., but it always seems to make us get a late start by anywhere from 10 - 15 mins and sometimes as much as a half hour late in getting started. lets try and get this fixed so we can get started at the scheduled start time.
2: GOING AFK
if you are on the scrim server prior to the start of a scheduled match just running around or anything else, if there are other people on and you need to step away to go to the restroom , get a drink , or anything else.
PLEASE GO TO SPECTATE. so that you ware not holding the rest of the people hostage to your being AFK. effective immediately if you go AFK longer than 1 round you will be temporarily kicked from the server until you return. repeat offenders will be banned from the scrims for at least a month.
repeat offender = having to be kicked for being AFK more than 3 times prior to any one scrim.
these are the people who have the power to kick people for this issue they are also part of the clans admins team on all servers the clan provides.

3: VENT
if you come on vent late and wanted to play please join the channel that old age is in.
if it will keep the teams even you will be allowed to take part in the remainder of the match. he will let you know which team to join.
4: LATE ARRIVALS
effective immediately there will no longer be uneven teams, if you did not sign up in advance you will not have a spot reserved for you to play in a match.you will be allowed to play only if it will keep the teams even in numbers.
if you come in late and it will make the teams uneven you will not be able to play unless someone else comes on to keep it balanced.
you will be allowed to spectate the match until someone else comes on to keep the teams balanced.
you will be in old's vent channel until then.
you may not say anything about the others teams player locations.
sorry but it was too unbalanced for the 1st few maps last night.
5: GENERAL CONDUCT
remember people you are generally playing with other clan members so lets not let our irritation with a single player get out of hand and throw a hissy fit about a trivial issue.remember that we do have a general code of conduct for all DUI members that are in the rules of being a member that you all should know by now.
i know there are some people who would rather be on opposing teams of some other players in the scrims and i try to make it so they can kill each other more often by putting them on opposing teams.
6: SIGN UP
there are a few that i know have issues with being able to get on the web site to visit the forums, and do not sign up in advance of the matches. please contact one of the senior admins ( FS sarge / ssgt vista / slayer ) or myself and i will contact them for you so we can try and get it fixed so you can sign up in advance. the more that sign up prior to the match the easier it is for me to pre set teams which just makes it easier for us to get started on time.
7: POST SIGN OFF
i will up date this post as needed in the future but for now i think i have covered what needed attention for now. if you have any comments good or bad about what i have posted please send them to me in a PM. if you post any comments other than your signature here i will delete it.[/b]
