I canceled the challenge server  tonight. I don't see paying for something that had no interest or wasn't being used.

I did start a new server in the UK, it is being setup.
It is a 12 slot server that will run the DUI mod.
I am still debating on if we are going to keep the same folder name or a new one.
There will be newer admin/system placed on the server.
I may go with a pure pb admin system on that server.
I will definitely need the help of Homer and Scorpio in running the server, there is a 5 hour difference in our time zone plus it would be very interesting to see how we can do with the ping swap.

I most likely will close the other 20 slot server that I have running in the near future again for the same reason as the challenge server was closed but the 20 slot server was just a test for a new host company and it seems like no interest in full scale load tests. I am Using that company to host the game in the UK I am sure we will get more use on an extra server over seas then we will in the USA. I may later change the mod and have the concept of the challenge server available there  on that server, nothing has been fully thought out- just a thought that I had and said piss on it let me try it out worst happens......I cancel it too....These servers are servers that are not coming out of the DUI fund they are coming out of my pocket and are something I want to try.

I still would love to get a full load test on the 20 slot server so we can fully test for lag and things I do hear a lot of moans and groans about the lag on the current hosting company and I am one of them. It does get frustrating.

I do want to Thank everyone that did poll's and tests on the challenge server it's just a day late and a dollar short scenario.  

Anyways it's late and I'm done rambling.

Just to back up Sarge I also would like to see a full out test on the other server we have heard from some players about lower pings. Also we have been having a lot of Admin problems with the server controls being locked out and the FTP being non- accessible. So we have been trying to find a better server for all together better play and better customer service. We have had to put in at least a dozen work tickets in the last 2 mo. So if you all would like to help keep up the high standards that -{DUI}- likes to keep lets all take the time and put a day together and test the other server.

     I would like to suggest this upcoming Friday or Saturday ( 9-26 / 9-27 ) to get this done. please leave your thoughts or alternate dates below. thanks
