Coduo gets stuck downloading
by FS_Sarge
Most downloading issues such as repeating or stuck downloads can be fixed by cleaning your uo folder out properly.
I strongly suggest using an automatic mod tool :
CPX Mod Manager Lite ------ http://downloads.fssquaduo.com/tools/CPXModManagerLite.zip -------------------highly recommend
or
Cod and Coduo Purity tool ----- http://downloads.fssquaduo.com/tools/cod_and_coduo_purity_utility_v1.0.zip
If you manually go to your uo folder you need to KEEP the following files and custom config files:(applies to machines running windows OS)
hunkusage.dat ----this would auto regenerate but I urge you to keep it
localized_english_pakuo00.pk3
localized_english_pakuo01.pk3
localized_english_pakuo02.pk3
pakuo00.pk3
pakuo01.pk3
pakuo02.pk3
pakuo03.pk3
pakuo04.pk3
pakuo05.pk3
pakuo06.pk3
pakuo07.pk3
uoconfig_mp.cfg ----- this auto regenerates but it has all your saved settings in it.....Strongly suggest you keep it so you don't have to reset things.
uo_cgame_mp_x86.dll
uo_game_mp_x86.dll
uo_ui_mp_x86.dll
version.inf

I just love the CPX Mod manager (works with windows 7 64bit and prior os versions)
Download and unzip the files (put where you want to store the maps from uo)
start the CPXModManagerLite.exe
setup your path to your uo folder (file......select path......... or ctrl + S)
Now you will get a list of all of your files in your uo folder (if you set it up correctly)
You will notice check marks next to the files keep the check marks next to the files you want to KEEP in your uo folder and uncheck/deselect the files you want to move out of your uo folder and into the uo_back folder. You can not deselect important files for uo the program won't let you. To move files back you simply have to check the files and they go back into the uo folder.... Really simple. Plus you can add files to the config file that will be whitelisted so you can't deselect those files by mistake... like custom configs. This is the Program that I use and used when FS had a dedicated box running multiple uo servers. This made map rotations on that box simple........okay enough of my rambling if you want to know more or need help post here or pm me......
Download to simplify your uo managing issues.

the readme file for CPX Mod Manager
" Open the CPXMM.cfg and edit your Call of duty location. The default is :
C:\Program Files\Call of Duty\uo\
Edit that to yours and hit save.
Just launch the exe. All the checked files will be kept in your uo all the unchecked will be moved from your uo folder into the uo_back folder(after you hit submit). To get those maps back simply check them and hit submit. "

In this same vein, can you tell us which DUI server mod files to keep, and which to delete? There are multiple in my folders, from past tweaks and updates, and I don't know what to keep and what to trash. Which are we supposed to have, by name?
