DirtyRat was asking me about how I fix hunkmegs....
Below is the method I use to fix hunkmegs.
Right click on your call of duty shortcut
Properties--shortcut--target
(you should see something like)
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Call of Duty\CoDUOMP.exe"
add(space) +set com_hunkmegs 512  after the  "
so it should look like this
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Call of Duty\CoDUOMP.exe" +set com_hunkmegs 512

then hit apply.
Launch your game and you shouldn't run into the hunkmegs issue on any server/mod/map you play on or with.

This works for other Call of Duty games also......
