Site Log-In
by Hawk
Is anyone else having an issue logging into the site using the log-in box on the right side of the screen? Every time I try using that method, it doesn't let me log in. I have to click on the "Login" on the top of the page to log into the site now....
i normally leave my account logged in but every once in a while it will want me to log back in and if i try to use the log in on the right side of the screen it won't accept it, so i have to use the one at the bottom of the page. it has been like that for over a year now.
good hunting to all, except when hunting me , then best look behind you cause that's where i'll be
I'm just now noticing it....I always logged in on the right side, until yesterday. I'm always logged in at home and on my tablets and phone, but at work, I don't keep any log in information stored for any websites.
If you leave your account logged in and if you have to log in by any chance, simply reload the page or go back to google and come back to DUI webpage.
Yes, I am having a problem recently. I always logout and have LastPass automatically log me in but now I have to manually click the login links.
the right side log-in wouldn't recognize my pw
log-in at the top didn't either
I had to request a confirmation code and then change my pw

Just logged out and logged back in with website-provided new password. Right side box doesn't recognize my pw/name. Top log-in button doesn't either, first go around (did this multiple times, saw the same pattern each time), but second attempt with same name and pw typed (I was careful and kept track each time) does work.
So I changed my pw to what I want and can remember. Had to use top log-in button and try it twice in a row, just like above, in order to get it changed, then had to use top log-in button and do that twice to re-log back in.
So something is off with both log-in buttons.

Thanks for pointing out this issue. It should be resolved now.
Shout box was causing issues with logins, I have it setup so it won't display until your logged in .... sorry about the inconvenience.

Strange.
Right now, under the Mac Browser Safari, I tried to log-in with my user name and old password--and it let me half-log in. That is, at the top of the screen, it says "Welcome RedRock" and "Private Messages [0]" but I can only see 3 items in the Forums and if I try to do anything on the site, it says I'm not logged in and gives me the log-in page (all with "Welcome RedRock" and the "Private Messages [0]" still showing at the top), so I'm not really logged in.
But at the same time, on FireFox with my new PW, I am fully logged in, with the top of the page reading just with the "half log-in" described above.
I can go ahead and log-in on Safari with my new PW, while being logged on with FireFox at the same time!

"reading just with the "half log-in" described above."
should be
"reading just the same as with the "half log-in" described above."

Clear your cookies....... I think you can do this at the login page recovery.......I tried that last night. Seems like your cookies are possibly overlapping. Not sure not a mac person......but there is some logic in the thinking anyways.......... Good luck.
